NCORE, or the Annual National Conference on Pediatric Neuro Disability, is a critical forum for rehab professionals to acquire new skills and knowledge, and to achieve better outcomes for individuals with neuro disabilities. Disability care is a resource-intensive field that requires a comprehensive approach encompassing rehabilitation, social support, and beyond. NCORE emphasizes the biopsychosocial model of care, which recognizes the interconnectedness of biological, psychological, and social factors in the lives of individuals with neuro disabilities. NCORE 2018 – Perspectives in Pediatric Neuro Rehabilitation

Our first NCORE –NICE Conference on Rehabilitation) conference focused on Pediatric Neuro rehabilitation. The journey of a child to adolescence and into adulthood in the context of rehabilitation has its challenges. A spectrum of care has to be there throughout. The focal point of this conference was on a multi -disciplinary approach towards rehabilitation. This conference provided the platform for different teams to understand and appreciate the role of other teams to provide effective services.
